Install Wall Mounted Folding Table . DIY

The Table was bought by my Wife Online from Tabao , cost her approximate  USD 29 for the product alone  and USD 20 to Ship from China to Malaysia.

It took almost a month to reach.

There are Similar  products , which can be found in IKEA Johor.

In comparison with what she bought from Tao bao  and offered by IKEA  Johor . Quality wise the Table  from Taobao looks  more Solid and has an Elegant  Vernier Finishing  .

While IKEA, the table has a more modern design outlook,the only  Offset is the Material is made of Fiber wood.

If you need a Lasting  Folding Table , going for the Solid one might be the best choice.

How to Install Wall Mounted Folding Table

I done this Installation Solely on my own ,it was quite  exhausted as i need to hold the table while measuring or Mounting screw.

it will be best  to have 2 people to do it.

So one people can hold while the other do the mounting or  drilling..

Step 1 

Unwrap your Package

Step 2

Prepare the Tools you need :

1. Extension Cable
2. Measuring Tape
3. Electrical Tape
4. Pen Knife
5. Philip Head Screw Diver
6. Pencil
7. 6.0 Drill Bit ( Wall Plug)
8. Newspaper
9. Driller
10. Hammer
11. Wall Plug  ( Included in the Package )

Step 3

Cover your Working Space with Newspaper

 

Step 4

Observe your mounting are there  any electrical Point around  .

Draw line and identified it as a ” No Drill Zone “

Warning : Don’t drill into Cables .It might cost your life , and hefty repair effort or Fees to fix it

Step 5

Measure the Table Length that you want to Install

In this Case my Table Length is :80CM

1. Measure  all Mounting Hole Distance.

Step 6

Mark down all your Measurement on Paper.

1. You should only have one Reference Point
2. Multiple Reference Point will Cause Confusion .

Step 7

Estimate the Height of the Table you want to Installed

Step 8

Measure The Mounting Hole Center Diameter to the end of the wooden edge height

Step 8

Measure all Mounting Hole Position , and update your Marking on Paper

 

Step 9

Drill Position Marking on wall using Pencil according to your sketch

Step 10

Start Drilling’

1. Assemble 6.0 Drill Bit for Wall Plug
2. Switch the Drill mode , to ” Hammer & Drill  ” Mode
3. Make sure the Drill bit is tighten
4. Start Drilling and be careful

 

 

 

Step 11

Hammer in all Wall Plugs after drilling

 

 

Step 12 

Screw in and mount the Table
